Sunday morning 10:30 am
We meet for worship and prayer and to spend time with each other.
Our minister, John Goddard, usually preaches and co-ordinates the service but wider participation is encouraged. A variety of people lead the prayers and Bible readings, serve at our monthly communion, and bring news and information about the overseas workers or charities that the church supports.
We have several groups of musicians who lead our singing. They generally include piano, guitar, drums and a singer, with occasionally various other instruments. We use a mix of old hymns and new songs related to the theme for the service.
Children and young people leave the service after the all-age talk to go to their own activities. We also have regular all-age services, which are shorter and more family focussed, as well as Parade services which welcome the uniformed organisations associated with the church.
We have tea and coffee after the service, with plenty of time to chat to friends and new people.
Sunday evening 7 pm
We meet in a smaller gathering for informal prayer and conversation.
