SWBC 250 - 1774 to 2024
We had a great time celebrating this anniversary and welcoming back many old friends.
Now we're looking forward to the future, with new hopes and plans.
The Year started with :
January 21st 10.30am Churches Together in Saffron Walden joint service
Easter:
March 24th, Palm Sunday, 10.30am Parade service with our youth organisations
March 31st, Easter Sunday, 10.30am
Both days will have Easter gardens on display to view.
May 6th - 12th Heritage Week:
Heritage display in Saffron Walden Museum
Heritage exhibition in the church (9-12 th 10am-4pm)
Joint service with URC, Abbey Lane (12th 10.30am)
Guided heritage walks: Free, book at Tourist Information Centre essential (Thurs 9th 10.30am and Sat 11 th 2pm)
Church Anniversary:
June 30th 10.30 a.m. Anniversary service. Preacher: Revd Lynn Green, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Followed by Celebration lunch (RSVP to administrator@sw-bc.org essential)
September 21st and 22nd
21st Harvest Supper 7pm
22nd Traditional Harvest Festival service 10.30am
December 7thand 8th
Advent: Nativity models display (10am-3pm)
