Saffron Walden Baptist Church is celebrating its 250^th anniversary throughout 2024. We’d be delighted to welcome you to any of the events taking place during the year. If you have any photos or memories to share, we’d be pleased to see them for our Heritage exhibition.

November 16th 7pm Youth groups Variety Show

December 7thand 8th Advent: Nativity models display (10am-4pm)

The Year started with :

January 21^st  10.30am Churches Together in Saffron Walden joint service

Easter:

March 24^th, Palm Sunday, 10.30am Parade service with our youth organisations

March 31^st, Easter Sunday, 10.30am

Both days will have Easter gardens on display to view.

May 6th - 12^th Heritage Week:

Heritage display in Saffron Walden Museum

Heritage exhibition in the church (9-12 ^th 10am-4pm)

Joint service with URC, Abbey Lane (12^th 10.30am)

Guided heritage walks: Free, book at Tourist Information Centre essential (Thurs  9^th 10.30am and Sat 11 ^th 2pm)

Church Anniversary:

June 30^th 10.30 a.m.  Anniversary service.  Preacher: Revd Lynn Green, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.   

Followed by Celebration lunch (RSVP to administrator@sw-bc.org essential)

September 21^st  and 22^nd

21^st  Harvest Supper 7pm

22^nd Traditional Harvest Festival service 10.30am
