During the past year, the boys have enjoyed a varied programme. Highlights have included a series of detective-themed evenings including Human Cluedo and a James Bond evening , “It’s A Knockout” style games at St Marks College, Clip ‘n’ Climb and a series of senses-themed evenings.
The Junior Section harnesses the energy and exuberance of the boys (8-11 year olds) through a range of fun and physical activities including, a series of Star Wars themed evenings, making clay candle-holders, ten pin bowling competitions, building wooden bird boxes, making and test-flying kites and learning juggling skills. All of this has enabled our lads to accomplish many of their Bronze, Silver and Gold Junior Section Awards: these badges are awarded at a special ceremony. Every year we take part in the Boys Brigade International Team Games competition; our best result coming 10th out of 184 teams.
We meet at the Baptist Church, from 6.30-7.45pm (term-time Tuesdays).
